FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND
Small, Modern and Perfectly Formed
This garden was at the end of an existing garden. The client wanted somewhere that was cosy for two but could seat many more and it needed to fit between a shed and summerhouse. They also had a theme from the poem 'Footprints in the Sand'.

Using two different types of paving allowed the area to feel larger and a feature wall of wood with blue inserts added height. Flanking this, the living walls allow for more planting and a three-bar pergola makes the space feel secluded and not overlooked.

A fold down bar allows the space to be versatile and allows this small garden to seat six people comfortably.
